5 Things to do Before you Propose

1. Pick a Location

Take your time, pick a location with a good backdrop, and/or somewhere that has special meaning between you and your significant other.


2. Hair and Nails

This one may be hard to get done without blowing the surprise, but think about treating them to getting their nails done!

3. Make a day out of it

Where ever you plan on popping the question, make a day out of it. Whether you are doing it at the start of the day, or end. Plan for dinner, sight seeing, or what ever is in the area. Make it memorable, and even more special.

4. Get the Ring cleaned

This may seem self explanatory, but it can be easily overlooked. Once you buy it, it sits in the box, take it to a jeweler and have them clean it, many of them will do it for free and it only takes a few minutes!

5. Hire a Photographer

This is often overlooked and not something people traditionally do when they propose, but this is a once in a lifetime event. Hiring a photographer will memorialize the day and guarantee you get high quality photographs, perfect for prints.
